"What have you done for YOU lately? Oooh oooh oooh yeah..."

I've got a new challenge for you to take on this month. The idea/theme came from the fact that Feb is known to be the month of LOVE & also because I've had Janet Jackson's "What have you done for me lately" song stuck in my head for over a week now. Go on and watch my video & commit to giving yourself lots of lovin' this month.

Not quite sure how to show yourself some love? Here are lots of ideas:

  • Sleeping earlier (give your adrenals their beauty sleep)
  • Mindfully eating
  • Buying better quality food
  • Ditch your fad diet, especially if it's giving you more stress than health benefits
  • Get in touch with nature
  • Floss your teeth
  • Getting more physical activity but in a way that you'll enjoy like dancing or playing with the Kinect, which I LOVE!
  • Take on less responsiblities - outsource/delegate
  • Schedule 10 mins a day to just do NOTHING
  • Engage in hobbies that you enjoy
  • Connect more with good friends
  • Draw, paint, write - tap into your creative side
  • Deep breathing exercises (great for de-stressing)
  • Give & receive hugs
  • Stretching exercises in the AM
  • Avoid watching the news before going to bed
  • Gratitude journal
  • Forgive yourself & others
  • Create a "happy songs" playlist & listen to it while getting ready for work
  • Paint your nails
  • Take a bath
  • Watch a funny movie/show
  • Light a candle & snuggle with your loved one
  • Read more books & watch less TV
